Idle time and psychedelic dreams can create work for little
fingers. Fortunately they fit a typewriter in the form of a computer.
First there were short stories on most anything expressing a point or a
perceived bit of humor. That grew into a novel based on a personal
experience and an interest in paranormal. Dreams directed that theme to a
solution to the world's problems. A wish at least, a dream at best wrapped
around a whimsical story to illustrate a point.
WHAT
IF? And if so WHAT THEN?
THE
ENHANCERS is the first of a trilogy that carries the four Enhancers
through many trials and tribulations battling rogue government power
mongers. Twisting from time brings a bitter feud against the Cochrans
powered by the Friedmans dating back to 1868.
 The Grand National
From the books and website, you'll
find that cars have always fascinated me. In "The Enhancers" Jac has two
cars, one homebuilt with many ideas I wanted to incorporate in my
homebuilt car. They were detailed in 1998 in the first book attempt.
Several have hit the market in today's cars.
One that I think is a
'sure thing' is drive-by-wire such as the large airplanes use. The
controls are electronic and send signals to hydraulic or electric
actuators such as steering. Such cars are being made in Europe now. In the
U. S., we cannot do this because the DOT, Dept of Transportation has
passed a law that all cars driven on American roads must have a mechanical
link between the steering wheel and the guide wheels. This will change.
Already, GM has proclaimed that in 10 years they will have one. Even today
they have a PU truck with DBW rear wheels.
Jac's second run around
town car is a Grand National made by Buick for stock car racing in the
‘80’ies. Three years, '85 thru '87 with the '87 being the choice marked
Buick's attempt to build a factory hotrod from a stock Regal. A picture is

 "THE ENHANCERS", a synopsis
The latent ESP talents of humans
can be enhanced with a computer stimulation program invented by
neuroscientist Shawn Etheridge. Sponsored by the Collinga Foundation in
Marian, Texas, Shawn discovered that the NDE relaxed the mind such that it
could be stimulated to astounding heights in telepathy, telekinesis, and
clairvoyance.
The "near death experience" wrapped around Meloney
Graham one dark rainy night as she plunged into the icy waters of Marian
creek. Dr. John Allen Cochran, intern, witnessed the transformation under
the implementation of Dr. Etheridge. Meloney returned to life surprising
all with astounding ESP talents under Etheridge's stimulation package.
Carol Marsh, Meloney's college roomy, made a foursome of the
Enhancers.
In a blink, the rogue CIA/DEA agents sponsoring
Etheridge's science knew of the enhancer phenomena and plotted to obtain
the program and the girl. From a dark past dating to a strange event in
1868, the Friedman clan joined the CIA/DEA to further their bitter feud
with the Cochran clan and acquire the awesome skills of
Meloney.
The Quark wave, an unexplainable bolt of lightning
controlled by an Enhancer finger, provided the ultimate basis for a "must
shutdown" of the Enhancers and their supernormal powers. "WHO SHALL

"THE QUARK EFFECT",
a synopsis
The rogue CIA group has acquired the
brain stimulating electronic marvel of Shawn Olin Etheridge, Soe. Soe's
'boost machine' now named the 'MENACE' for 'mental energy naturally
acquired computer enhanced' by the acronym crazy government is being
studied by Dr. Rathshorne in a secret site on Area 51. When applied to
NDE's, they truly do acquire monumental powers through the 'Quark Wave'
directed by no more than pointing a finger and brain control. Synergistic
multiplication of the force can twist the fabric of space and time as
found out May 28, 1999 when a good portion of Guatemala disappeared in an
explosion comparable to a huge hydrogen bomb. All manner of objects were
cast forward or backward through time on earth's gravity/time
line.
Thus began the saga of the feud between the Cochrans and the
Friedmans in 1868. The paradox of time travel cannot be explained, it can
only be marveled at. Soe's frenetic pounding of the computer keyboard
brought forth a radical device that could respond to high levels of mental
energy stimulation and transport it down the earth time line to the past.
John Allen Cochran, Jac, shot dead, came forth to 1999 with pieces of the
past hanging about him.
With the CIA test team blasted out of existence, there only remained
the present day nucleus of power mongers to address. THE QUARK WAVE
